November 12, 2025 | FabLab Bangkok
An extraordinary collaboration between M.5 students from two majors — AI Engineering x EV Engineering. Together, they designed integrated Electric Vehicle (EV) and Autonomous Vehicle (AV) systems. Over the past two weeks, students assembled their own EV kits and developed sophisticated software to power them.
Students explored how EVs and AVs merge mechanical design, electronics, and AI while adhering to real-world industrial standards.
Using ESP32, IMU sensors, and Arduino IDE, teams programmed two driving modes: Manual and AI-Controlled.
The lab became a racetrack. Students tested their systems on the Manual Track and the AI Track.
Special thanks to KX Knowledge Xchange for their support.

November 10, 2025 | SRT Red Line Operations Center
Our M.4 E-AI students recently took their learning beyond the classroom with an exclusive site visit to the SRT Red Line Maintenance Facility at Bang Sue Grand Station. This field trip provided a firsthand look at the massive engineering infrastructure required to keep Bangkok's modern transit system running.
Students toured the heavy maintenance area, observing the mechanical systems and wheel-lathe machines used for electric trainsets.
A deep dive into the automated signaling systems that manage train frequency and safety via real-time data processing.
Understanding the Overhead Catenary System (OCS) and how high-voltage power is converted for propulsion.
October 27, 2025 | Chonburi, Thailand
A massive cross-major collaboration took place as students from AI Engineering, Electrical Engineering (EE), and Interactive Media (IM) traveled to Chonburi for a deep dive into the heart of Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). The mission: to witness the bridge between classroom theory and industrial-scale automation.
Located at Burapha University, students engaged in hands-on workshops focused on Industrial IoT (IIoT), smart factory systems, and high-precision robotics used in modern manufacturing lines.
A rare opportunity to visit a global leader in semiconductor and signal processing. Students observed the clean-room environments and high-tech testing processes for integrated circuits.
This joint field trip allowed students to see how AI software controls Electrical hardware, and how Interactive Media is used to visualize industrial data through Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI).

Our M.4 E-AI students participated in an intensive AI Programming workshop led by experts from KMITL (King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang). The session focused on utilizing CiRA CORE, a powerful platform for industrial-grade computer vision and AI application development.
Students learned the full pipeline: preparing datasets, labeling images, and training DeepDetect models for real-time object recognition.
The curriculum covered processing DeepDetect payloads using JavaScript and bridging AI outputs to physical Arduino hardware.

Beyond coding and circuits, the heart of our major is our community. This week, we hosted the "Connecting the Nodes" event—our traditional Sae-Rahas (Mentorship) reveal. Upperclassmen finally revealed their identities to their M.4 "Code-Juniors" in an atmosphere filled with warmth and friendship.
The mentorship system ensures that younger students have a support network for both academic advice and life within the E-AI major.
Students participated in ice-breaking activities and gift exchanges, strengthening the bond between different generations of AI innovators.
March 18 - 20, 2025 | Rayong, Thailand
Our AI and Electrical Engineering (EE) students headed to Rayong for a 3-day intensive camp. The journey combined high-level industrial site visits with a high-pressure "Code & Create" Hackathon focused on environmental sustainability.
Students visited the PTT LNG Company Limited and the Miracle of Natural flora exhibition. They explored energy-saving building designs, toured the Central Control Room, and observed the LNG production plant, gaining firsthand chemical engineering perspective.
Under limited time and resources, teams designed an AI-Powered Smart Waste Sorter. Using embedded systems and computer vision, the machines were built to classify waste into three categories: General, Hazardous, and Recyclable.
"This camp bridged the gap between raw industrial engineering and the application of AI for social responsibility."

An inspiring afternoon dedicated to the future of our AI students. The "Road to TCAS Year 2" seminar provided a comprehensive roadmap for students aiming for top-tier engineering and technology faculties in Thailand.
We were honored to host Assoc. Prof. Theerawat Prakobphon from KMITL, who shared invaluable techniques, technical knowledge, and inspiration for university entrance.
Special thanks to Team "Kao-Kee" and Team "Dr. Fish" for sharing their secrets on creative project development, professional presentation techniques, and problem-solving strategies.
Our seniors from the first three generations of E-AI returned to share their university life experiences with Gen 6. This "Senior-to-Junior" bridge is what makes our community strong.
